2 Timothy 3:1-9
1 Corinthians 4:3*

Philippians 1:6-10
Philippians 2:16

The Book of Revelation
tells the events of this day

2 Peter 3:12,13

* “Man’s judgement” - the literal in the greek means “Man’s Day”

A period governed by grace.
Man is going his own way under Satan (Ephesians 2:2)
Then, according to 2 Timothy 3:9, God interrupts and the Day of Christ is ushered in.

Events at the end of Man’s Day overlap the beginning of the Day of Christ.

The Return of Elijah marks the end of Man’s Day and the beginning of the Day of Christ.  Malachi 4:5-6

Present believers await this Day of Christ.
True Israel awaits this as Messiah’s Day.
Malachi 3:16-4:6; Matthew 11:13-15, 17:11-13

Psalm 110:1
This Day begins with Christ ruling from Heaven.

Acts 2:16-21
Amos 9:11; Hosea 3:4,5
Hosea 5:15-6:3
Isaiah 2:2-5
Zechariah 8:13,23
Joel 2:27-32

Then a revolt against Messiah occurs
Psalms 2; Joel 3
but the revolt is put down with Messiah’s coming (parousia) to Earth to continue His rule.

Events at the close of Messiah’s Day overlaps the beginning of Jehovah’s Day.

This Day includes the “Tribulation”
2 Thessalonians 2:2-12

Jehovah’s Day includes Messiah on Earth with the 2nd Coming
1 Thessalonians 4

Jehovah’s Day includes the 1000 year period called the Millenium, plus the “little season” and the “great white throne judgement”

See Revelation 20

God’s Day incorporates the New Heavens and The New Earth

Revelation 21, 22
